There seems to be some difference of opinions on this subject. To assist John in his research with accurate information, and I would like to know the same information, does any one have actual test data that was documented and reproducible to some degree that would show secondary fires originating from rocketing aerosols where they come to rest or from the flaming fuel being disbursed during flight? Also, what is the maximum distance from the point of origination of the containers flight this can be expected to take place?
There is no question as to secondary fire resulting from combustables being ignited that are in the fire ball occurring during a BLEVIE. I am looking to confine the subject to just rocketing aerosols that land a distance away from its starting point.
