Holmes Tower Fan Fires

In January 2007, the CPSC and the Holmes Group issued a recall for model HT 30 Tower fans, which have caused several dozen fires. I used the Freedom of information Act to request the underlying data from the CPSC, and after five months, I finally got the reports.

Anyone involved in litigation regarding one of these fires would find the CPSC data useful. Please contact me off list, scientific.fire@yahoo.com, if you would like a copy.
