HAZWOPER TRAINING

Hello,

Time for possibly a new can of worms to be opened.......

Is anyone out there aware of any "industry specific" HAZWOPER training for those of us in the industry specified of conducting fire investigations?

Haz (pun intended) anyone ever been refused access to a scene because they are not a current card carrying HAZWOPER Train individual? Rhetorical question, you need not embarass yourself........

Being HAZWOPER trained would have the assumption you also get the annual medical requirements for wearing a respirator (cartridge, not dust mask) fulfilled. How does one go about that outside of the fire services?

If you had the training that was fire investigation industry specific, what agency did you get your "card" from?

THANKS!
