This question was posted on another forum and I was asked to post it here to the esteemed membership.
Opinion of the group...what are the odds of charcoal not used in 2 weeks, says the homeowner, being a competent ignition source when dumped? Had a small fire on a fence line behind a house. Area of origin had no competent ignition sources other than that is the area the homeowner dumps his used charcoal. I don’t want to post any pictures here, but I will send them to anyone interested. Truly looking to learn on this.
The grill involved was a green egg type grill.
Thanks
