It's not that you're not smart enough. You undoubtedly are.
Your problem is that you want the information spoonfed to you, as though you are in high school. Becoming a certified fire investigator is not all about a test. It is also an evaluation of your body of work...of your training, education and experience. Certification is not a passing grade. Certification is a recognition of years of work to attain a goal.
I'm not the only one, I'm sure, who is glad they don't train fire investigators like this anymore.
I think your problem with certification is a fear of failure. I have read your posts here for awhile. If you applied yourself, there is no way in the world you would fail it.
