This is where I think "Pyrophoric Carbonization" gets a bad rap
(like "Spontaneous Combustion" has little old ladies bursting into flame)..
My interest in the subject isn't so much the "self-heating" aspect,
but the (auto)ignition characteristics of wood after long-term exposure to heat.
