Yesterday I received an odd appearing e mail... it had the semblance of a letter from the IAAI Someone out of Illinois named Ward, running for BoD..

Last night the IAAI responded...

It has come to our attention that an email promoting the candidacy of four nominees for the Board of Directors in the 2019 General Election is currently being circulated among the membership of the IAAI. We have received many inquiries asking if this email, which some indicate mimics official IAAI communications, is an endorsement by the IAAI, official or otherwise, of these individuals in the ongoing General Election.

To clarify this matter, formally established policy states, the IAAI does not under any circumstances endorse or publicly support any individual in any IAAI or an IAAI Chapter Election. Any inference of support by the IAAI as related to the campaign email in question is in error. The IAAI played no role in the development of the content of this email or approval of this campaign communication.

This clarification is provided by the IAAI to ensure there is no misunderstanding on anyone’s part as to the purpose of these candidates’ campaign email. If you have questions regarding any candidate’s email communication, please contact the IAAI office at 410-451-3473 or reply to this message.

I would suggest that candidate Ward not be reWARDed for his efforts...
