Here at the Southern tip of Africa, Fire Origin & Cause Investigations
has now been listed as a Specialized Science under our Scientific Professions Act,
meaning (active) FI's will be forced to Register (similar to NAFI-/IAAI-CFI application), or face criminal prosecution.
Whilst I agree than an International Standard should form the bedrock of any Industry standard,
ISO 17020 is not suited for one-man bands like myself - I will drown in the paperwork.
