Thanks to a new movie, Trial by Fire, Cameron Todd Willingham is back in the news more than 15 years after his death by lethal injection. This month’s newsletter, Sifting the Ashes, contains the Mother of all Case Studies. There are links to stories about the new movie, a link to a 2011 documentary, and a link to the entire case file, including all of the photos, the complete trial transcript, the (unpublished) Order exonerating Mr. Willingham, and the voluminous report of the Texas Forensic Science Commission.
