OK Jim, I bought the dang thing, and now I need your help.

The TG-6 being very similar to my old TG-4, so I've found my way around it's menus,
but two new functions had me excited but I,m to dumb to get them to work :

The TG-6 has wi-fi, and I was looking forward to using it to transfer the files
instead of always having to dig around for it's USB-type cable
(which is neither USB Type A, -B- or C, or TG-4's - WHY to all these manufactures have their own version?)
and fiddling with my butterfingers to open a small double-locked waterproof flap to hook it up.
But, from what I could gather (i.e. not much) I need an Android App to do this?
- I dunna want them photos on my phone, I wanna them on my PC!
Is there a workaround? (I've tried an Android simulator, but it's a bitch to work with...)

The TG-6 has GPS (so did the TG-4, but it was buried so deep down the submenus that I rarely used it),
now activated by a simple on-off button, just takes a few seconds to lock onto satellites - Great!
But once you download the photos (with their cable...) where is the geodata?
Olympus seem to use their Android Apps "Olympus Share" to download the photos
(which it duly does, but I just can't seem to find where to; i.e. no path prompt)
and "Olympus Track" (why separate Apps?) to download the geodata-files (not sure where to either);
after wandering up & down menus I actually got my photos' location displayed on a map,
but I'm not a mountain biker or trail runner, I just wanna capture a single photo's coordinates into a Word document.

Perhaps the teenagers love all this integration, autotagging & -plotting etc. in the palm of their hand/mobile,
but us old folk just want to sit in front of a tradition PC, mouse in hand, with a big-ass display we can actually see on,
download the photos, save it to a folder of our own choice, and have the metadata on hand to Copy/Paste.

You can PM me with any advice.
