This is the THIRD case than I am aware of where a wrongful conviction can be laid at the feet of the late Dr. Kinard. I seriously doubt that the cases I know about are all there are. I know and respect the leadership of the ATF Lab. I trust that they are reviewing every one of his cases that resulted in someone going to jail.

Daniel Carnevale is released from the Allegheny County Jail on Wednesday after charges were withdrawn based on after-discovered evidence.
