The case was very enlightening. One state Expert witness had no photos and Took no notes. He had signed in at EVERY meeting and inspection.
An independent O&C for the insurer did not investigate the entire fire scene because of his girth.
An independent engineer indicated that he found arcing - it was just melted plastic.
I found arced line cords. The O&C stated That the first material ignited was dried enamel paint on a twenty year old toolbox.
Curtis Severns received a 28 year sentence - Later cut by half, due to Trial
Errors, as I recall.
