Nope,
the fire was in mineral-wool lagging sandwiched between the industrial pot & it's sheet-steel cladding; the mineral wool was soiled by the polybutene impregnation compound after decades of spillage.
CCTV-footage shows what looks like a small steam leak (the industrial pot is jacketed
by steam pipes under the mineral-wool lagging) to heat it) for some hours preceding the fire.
Industrial pot was steady at 280F, so steam jacket no more than marginally above it.
