Nope...this is a standing position they have taken for decades. However, the court cases I have been involved in say that it is public domain, especially since the National Fire Codes are adopted by nearly every jurisdiction and therefore the copyright laws dont apply. This is an ongoing legal debate and battle the NFPA has been dealing with.
