Pat,

I will discuss this issue with the CFITrainer.net steering committee.

Part of the reasoning is what Mike pointed out, test integrity, as these tests have a limited number of questions to draw from.

From an learning perspective, I believe we should find some way to let learners know what questions they have missed so they can go back over the information. Maybe not say it was answer B not answer C but something like "you missed question 3 - you might want to review section X, Y and Z."

Is this the type of feedback you are looking for and would think is acceptable?
