Forensic engineers at Kodiak process fire scenes, gather and analyze evidence to determine fire origin and cause. They interact with clients to assist them in holding accountable those responsible for their loss as well as recoup their financial loss. They assist manufacturers both with new product development and allegations of failures of existing products.
To apply for this exciting opportunity, candidates need to meet the following minimum qualifications:
BS/BA Engineering/Technology/Science degree from an accredited college or university
5+ years working in engineering/science field
Ability to travel extensively
Hold a valid drivers license and passport
Preferred qualifications include:
BSEE/EET/BSE with electrical fundamentals or BSFPE
Ability to set for or hold Professional Registration [PE]
Experience in design, failure analysis, root cause analysis, fire origin and cause determinations and/or forensic engineering
