Mechanical Engineering Position:

Barker & Herbert Analytical Laboratories, Inc. has an opening for an experienced, highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to determine the cause of failure of structural and or mechanical devices. Person applying should be interested in Forensic Engineering and problem solving. Experience in building systems, structural, and mechanical engineering examinations, analyses, and studies. Knowledge of Building Codes, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, appliances, and sprinklers. Teaching experience a plus.

A four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Ability to be licensed as a Private Investigator is required.

The opening is in New Haven, Indiana.

Compensation will be based on the qualifications of the applicant and will include health care, life insurance, pension plan, and vacation/sick time.
