Thanks to everyone! A few days ago I finally tracked down another caretaker of the disabled man who was the last to leave residence before fire, verified by other witnesses. He claims disabled man was not asleep but watching TV when he left. He cooked breakfast for the man earlier in the morning and had left grease in the pan. Time sequence adds up, man left residence at least hour before fire was discovered at 1322.
