I do. I provide the required list if requested but I have always refused to provide any information on a particular case beyond the list without a court order. Frankly to date no requesting party has obtained a court order in response to my refusal. I agree too with Rich, selling copies of transcripts are how court reporters earn their living. If some party wants these as far as I am concerned they can research the case and purchase it from the court reporter. Otherwise, as for me they are going to have to get a court ordering me to provide it at their cost. We have an obligation to keep our clients case file confidential. So nobody gets anything from my files without a court order. I am of course speaking of files not involved in the case from which the request or subpoena duces tecum arises.
