I was taught during my public side days that a person can only be responsible for records if they are under his/her " care, custody or control". If you do not have those transcripts, I can't imagine a court ordering you to provide them. If you have them, you are probably responsible to provide them.

Also, I understand and agree with the comments about selling transcripts. But I can't see a court giving a damn about that.
