The official NFPA 921 definition of fire dynamics is:
"3.3.61* Fire Dynamics. The detailed study of how chemistry,
fire science, and the engineering disciplines of fluid mechanics
and heat transfer interact to influence fire behavior."
This definition was written especially for inclusion in 921 with the direct input of Dougal Drysdale.
