No disagreement with the definition.
The study of fire dynamics still requires prerequisite knowledge of those subjects at a post-secondary level of knowledge. This would implicitly be at a level commensurate with the tradition curriculum found in classical texts on each subject that would be taught over a traditional college semester. I know of no fire dynamics text that provides the equivalent of the content of these individual texts on each subject. The depth and breath contained in fire dynamic texts are a summary, at best.
