The major problem with these types of fires is the person cannot see if the fire is out or may not see that it is out before trying to add more fuel that can cause a flash fire. We had a case where the homeowner was using a table top smores maker that ran on Alcohol and thought it was out and attempted to add more fuel and was burned badly. In looking at the products owner and use manual there were no warnings in reference to using this type of fuel.
