2001 chevy duramax fires

Hi! we had a fire investigation done on our 2001 chevy duramax. The fire investigator stated that this fire started by the wires wrapped in the plastic tubing running against the brake line on the drivers side by the wheel well. the truck was parked for about 10 min when the fire accured. We want to add that this was the wiring harness that carried body lighting and trailer wiring.
we have had several others around the united states that contacted us after we had posted this on the old forum world web sight. Are there still problems out there?
