First- vs second burn

Gotta vehicle suspected of being involved in an accident/burnt, then insured,
moved to a quiet road and burnt (again?) 3 weeks ago.

Photo's from client show it in a breaker's yard; brown from the rust and stripped out.
Would have gone out today, but the roads are snowed up (that's Africa for you).

Any way of dating the rust/distinguishing between a burn and reburn/ pre- and post burn damage?
