Mystery bus fire

Got a bus fire.

Maiden trip after refurbishment (driver taking bus to client) - all A-OK.

Just before midnight there is a loud bang from rear, followed by fire under front dash.
Driver pulls over (steering, brakes, tyres A-OK), ruins around and finds fire from under rear engine compartment.

All I have is a burnt-out skeleton.
Pneumatic lines run under-floor burnt away over front axle.

Any ideas what can cause sudden fire basically simultaneously at front dash and rear engine?
