Diesel engine exhaust regeneration

I have an agricultural building fire. The vehicle is a 2012 Dodge P/U less than 3 months old. Anyone have an occurrance of the exhaust regeneration cycle occurring while stopped? Or starting the cycle while moving and then failing to terminate the cycle when the vehicle stops? Thanks in advance.
