Testing fuel-injection lines

Gotta Landrover Disco 3 TDV6 fire.
Fire restricted to the engine bay.
Suspect leak at tap-offs/-on of the (left) common fuel rail (it's a diesel V6).

How best to test this?
I'm guessing the high-pressure fuel pump will have pressure sensor/-control valve
requiring the (now burnt) electronics to allow proper pressurizing of the fuel line;
i.e. it won't just be a question of cranking the motor looking for a leak...
