Here's a question for you. On a floor with carpeting, foam underlayment and plywood sub floor, how long will a heavy petroleum distillate, (i.e. Charcoal lighter, gasoline, etc.) be able to be detected. I have recently been told by a "knowlegable" individual that within a few days it is no longer viable for evidenciary collection regarding testing for an ignitable liquid. Thanks, Ken Vanderpool
