I have had a tech indicate that he had an issue with a 5 amp fuse that almost caught an El Camino on fire (what a loss that would be...) and had determined on his own with testing that some of the aftermarket fuses his customer had purchased at a local weekend warrior parts supply store were taking a lot more of a draw that he felt was necessary to pop.

I asked for the remaining after market fuses, only to find the tech's customer had thrown them out to prevent accidentally using them.

If anyone has conducted any tests on Auto fuses, or knows of anyone who has, please let me know.
