The 500 is a nice camera. The one problem we have is that we needed cameras that are small enough to fit in a shoulder bag along with everything else we carry. Being in an urban enviroment (NYC) I need to have cameras and equipment with me all of the time. Additional tools are kept in our vehicle. The concept has worked very well with the ability to (usually) photograph the scene during suppression and through the investigation.
