Actually Jim,
If we use the Webster's definition of barometric pressure - "the pressure of the atmosphere usually expressed in terms of the height of a column of mercury," no fire or explosion would change it. Localized pressure may increase, or decrease slightly depending on the location where the pressure was measured, but not barometric pressure.
