Vehicle fire

Currently investigating a fire in the engine compartment of a 1999 GMC Sierra Z71 with a 5.3 L engine. vehicle parked about 5 Hrs before fire discovered. Owner reports no problems even though its a high miler (184, 000 km). Burn patterns suggest an origin on the right hand side of the engine (pass. side). Checked for recalls/defects Can. and USA neg. results. Any Thoughts??
