Update
it looks like the finest in cover your ass is at work in 2005 a beam on same floor dropped 2 1/2" and authority was never notified now it has been revealed that the expansion joint used at the collapse area is of the same design which also suffered a collapse at the hyatt regency kansas city in 1979.
