You might want to try the Sacremento County Fire Department, they lost the trestle bridge over the Sacremento river I beleive it was last week.
It has burned for a couple of days now.
I would say also try Dr Vyto Babrauskas it might be in his ignition handbook lets look and see.
Here is what he has creosote, wood AIT (C in air 360 C- 680 F. Flash Point 92 C- 197.6 F. Boiling Point 200-240 C- 392 F- 464 F.
I am pretty sure he can answer the large scale testing also, you might want to call Western Fire Center in Washington State, they conduct bunches of tests.
