Floyd,
I have investigated fires associated with this type of equipment, without any details, you will want to explore failure(s) of hydrualic lines as well as self-heating of the wood chips. These chips that can accumulate in piles under the equipment and if not removed with sufficient frequency, can self-heat to ignition under the geometric and environmental conditions.
