As frequently happens when the media reports on a complex subject, major stuff gets left out. I want to thank Ron Hopkins for agreeing on short notice to accomodate the CNN folks who wanted to get some footage of test fires. I was very disappointed that they did not even mention the EKU program. They don't even know they were being inconsiderate.
I have attended a test burn at EKU, and was very impressed by the quality of the research that Ron and the NAFI folks do every year. There need to be many more test burns, and there are few places where such burns can take place. The EKU facility is first rate, as is the staff. They certainly deserve more recognition than they got in this show.
