Currently working a house fire with an origin in a main floor closet. Closet was used to store garbage bags prior to being put to the curb. Within the garbage was a large quantity of soiled disposable diapers. No electrical in closet. Non smokers, no extension cords etc. A quantity of typical household cleaning products also located in the closet. Fire debris moved out of closet by suppression personnel, so difficult to tell what went where. No suspicion of arson. My qustion is are the soiled diapers subject to S.H.? I searched this web site and fire findings, fire engineering and firehouse. Some anecdotal evidence of the potential being there but wondering if there is any scienific basis for it
