John, thanks for your response to my inquiry. I have to say you are the most diligent person on this site when it comes to requests for help. I already had this and two other recalls regarding dehumidifiers. I was hoping maybe one of the more experienced fire investigators or fire engineers would give me a little insight as to what they are finding as to regards the causes for all these dehumidifiers fires we are hainvg in our area, e.g. loose wires, bad switches, failing motors, etc. Not a peep though. Thanks again.
