On a similar note, there is a technical note that was recently published related to this product in the Journal of Forensic Sciences (May 2007, Vol. 52, No. 3) titled "Use of a Solid Absorbent and an Accelerant Detection Canine for the Detection of Ignitable Liquids Burned in a Structure Fire." Since, in the documented tests, the product did not perform as expected in all cases, anyone using the product should be well aware of the products limitations.
