Aerosol cans as incendiary devices

I’m investigating a fire that may have been started or spread using aerosol cans. I found at the scene an aerosol can with a pyrotechnic device attached. Also at the moderately burned scene are any number of burned or heated aerosol cans, some of which are BLEVED with side wall splits, some of which have simply vented their contents, and some of which have separated at the bottom seam. Has anyone seen technical information on failures of aerosol cans exposed to various rates of heating? Also, anything on using aerosol cans as a device to purposefully spread a fire. I can obviously do some testing, but to the extent it exists, I would like to benefit from what has already been done. Thanks.
