Dear NAFE Members and Guests!

I'm very excited about an opportunity for NAFE members to participate in a new educational track - Fire Investigation Techniques for Professional Engineers

Dave Icove and Jerry Haines will be presenting an all-day Special Seminar at the Winter NAFE meeting in Phoenix - Sunday January 14th. Dave and Gerry are the authors of Kirk's Fire Investigation, 8th Edition. More information can be found at: [www.nafe.org]

NAFE is also reaching out to non-member engineers who may want to attend the Special Seminar on the 14th of January and may also want to come for the entire conference. We hope to attract prospects for membership in NAFE.

We are asking NAFE members who are active in the fire investigation field to reach out to colleagues who may be interested in attending this special event. It may be of interest to them to know that first timers at a NAFE conference can attend seminars at half price.

We are asking for support from NAFE members active in fire investigation to help promote this special event by contacting colleagues as well as sharing information about the event on your social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook) or perhaps on your company's website.

In addition to the other areas of investigation that The National Academy of Forensic Engineers is known for, I look at this event as a start to also share our experiences with the fire investigation community to hopefully build bridges between our Academy and those who are not familiar with us.

I thank you for your support in spreading the word on this event and if you would like to contribute in a focus group within NAFE for future fire investigation related educational events please let us know!

Thank You

John Certuse P.E. CFEI

VP, NAFE
