The Quality Triangle?
Don't get me wrong, their is nothing fundamentally wrong about the principles of "The Quality Triangle"
- but why must otherwise intelligent groups of people always congregate around such symbols like moths to a flame ?
I've never been on a fire course where the term "Fire Tetrahedron" hasn't been repeated in awed tones generally reserved for exalted texts such as the Torah.
Call me cynical, but the Quality Assurance- and Occupational Health and Safety industries
are past masters in reinventing themselves every decade or so with a new vocabulary;
Quality Control became Quality Assurance became Quality Management became Total Quality Management;
OHS became SHE became SHEQ became (Hell, I can't keep up...).
Symbolism is a sign of blind faith, not Science...
