Ok, a little confusion here...

The Texas Forensic Science Commission (FSC) was never shut down. The TFSC does NOT look at fires.

The State Fire Marshal (TSFMO) changed, and with it there was a question about the Texas SFMO SAW - Science Advisory Workgroup. They WILL be active - just some re grouping going on. The SAW has the following members

Nizam Peerwani MD Pathologist
Kathy Crouch JD Atty
Gary McDonald JD Prosecutor
Dave Icove PE PhD FPE
Tommy Sing O&C Private
Kenny Wilson O&C Public
John Lentini Fire Chemistry
Elizabeth Buc PE PhD Materials Science
Mark Goodson PE Electric / Mechanical

The ATF also has a slot on the panel.
