Flammability of vinyl clad siding

Are there any applicable building/fire codes, standards, or research material that specifically address the flammability of vinyl clad siding for use on the exterior of residential structures. This particular fire loss occurred in Florida. I am aware of the restrictions in California.

Fire spread and fire movement occurred as a result of an exterior trash container fire. The fire spread across the vinyl siding from ground-level to the soffit and the fire eventually entered the attic.
