I use a Ricoh Theta V with the Matterport software. It’s compact, easy to use, and as a fire investigator it gives me one more documentation device.
You can get the Theta V plus a good tripod for under $500.
I thought about the bigger Matterport, but I don’t want to carry a $4,000 suitcase everywhere I go, because you never know when you need it.
Also, I’ve been extremely happy with ease of use. Simple trick. More pictures. Higher resolution and results.
