The link above will take you to the decision. This was a major screw-up on the part of the INSURANCE ADJUSTER, not the fire investigator. The fire investigator properly advised the insurance adjuster that the scene needed to be made available to the power company and he failed to take that sound advice.

There was a motion to exclude the fire investigator's testimony but the court never addressed the issue because they dismissed the case.
