The Fall/Winter 2021 edition of “Sifting the Ashes” is now available at www.firescientist.com. This issue includes a look back at the Great Chicago Fire on its 150th anniversary and the lessons learned (or not learned). Also included is a review of a new book called Mr. Subro, about the experiences of a subrogation lifer.
Two significant obituaries, that of Ernest Ray Willis and Han Tak Lee round out the newsletter along with several interesting links.
This will be the last newsletter for a while as other priorities have taken over. A link to the 25 archived newsletters can be found at the end.
