I use an iPad Pro 11. For notes I use Notability.
For memory it’s whatever you need. Mine is 1TB and connect via Verizon.
I’m never going back to paper and pen.
Oh, I have a military rated cover for and I keep the Apple Pencil in my pocket.
It works great and I can confirm if my photos are decent or garbage, before I leave the scene or move too much debris.
