There is no reason to destroy information anymore. I have a record of every file I opened since 2008. It all fits on a small 2TB external hard drive. It's about 1/4 inch thick and 2 by 4 inches and contains ~700 case files. I would have to take affirmative steps to delete any of the files.

100 such drives would easily fit in a shoebox.
